Replacement LED traffic lights

For our business customers in Iowa

Give energy waste the red light with energy-efficient LED traffic signals. Traffic signals that have earned the ENERGY STAR label use 90 percent less energy than conventional traffic signals, while providing reliable, long-lasting and low-maintenance performance.

ENERGY STAR rated traffic signals use high-efficiency light emitting diode (LED) technology. These lights rarely fail, lowering the risk of accidents at intersections. They can last up to 10 years, compared to less than two years for conventional traffic lights.

  • LED traffic lights are brighter than conventional traffic lights. The LED arrays fill the entire “hole” and have equal light across the entire surface, making them brighter overall.
  • LED bulbs last up to 10 years, reducing maintenance and bulb costs. When you multiply the savings of one LED traffic signal by the number of signals in your town, the savings add up quickly.
  • LED traffic lights save a lot of energy (and money). A single LED traffic signal uses just 12 watts to operate, compared to the 150 watts used by an incandescent light bulb.
