Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs (CFLs)
ENERGY STAR qualified CFLs use about 66 percent less energy than standard incandescent bulbs and last 10 times longer. That's more than 6,000 hours of usage from a CFL, as opposed to around 600 hours for an incandescent bulb.
